WHMCS, read-only

Most questions from a hosting customer are about their own account: a suspended service, an expiring domain, a pending invoice. 0seat reads that information in WHMCS, through a closed list of actions, so the draft speaks to their actual situation.

What 0seat reads

The customer’s account

Services, domains, invoices, orders and tickets (subject and status only), summarised in the agent’s private note.

A closed list of actions

GetClients, GetClientsDetails, GetClientsProducts, GetClientsDomains, GetInvoices, GetInvoice, GetOrders, GetTickets, GetProducts, GetTLDPricing. Nothing else gets through.

Fields filtered in code

Password, postal address and phone number are stripped before any model call. Ticket bodies are not read.

An account summary by e-mail

On an agent’s command, the account status goes to the address on file in WHMCS, built by code, with no model text.

Setup

  1. Create a minimal API role

In WHMCS, a role limited to the read actions listed above, with dedicated credentials.

  2. Save the credentials

In the console, on the space: encrypted with AES-256-GCM, never shown again.

  3. Review before sending

In draft mode, the agent reviews everything: the e-mail the contact declares does not prove their identity, and the draft never claims it does. Autopilot is refused as long as identity cannot be verified.

Honest limits

  • No writes: 0seat suspends, refunds and changes no plan. Those requests go to a human.
  • Prices quoted come from your WHMCS catalogue, not from a page copied into the base.
  • Calls carry an identifiable user agent and are spaced out, so your WHMCS application firewall is not triggered.

Frequently asked questions

Why a read-only role?

Because 0seat has nothing to write. A role limited to the listed actions makes any write impossible, whatever the assistant does.

Does the model see my customers’ contact details?

No. Password, postal address and phone number are stripped in code before the call; other fields are limited to those useful for support.

How is the customer found in WHMCS?

By the contact’s e-mail address, ruling out duplicates. A customer not found is handled without account data.

What about hosting WHMCS itself?

0seat reads your WHMCS where it is. It does not host WHMCS and installs no module in it.
